Are the rumours true……. will Sophie Morgan be joining the new series of Strictly Come Dancing this year?
If so, I believe that would mean that Sophie would be the first dancer on the show who also happens to be a wheelchair user. Sophie was left paralysed from the chest down as a result of a car accident at the age of 18.
Since the accident Sophie has been busy with all sorts of projects. I first saw her on a programme called Beyond Boundaries, but she has also been a guest presenter on the ITV show ‘Loose Women’
You may have already seen Sophie on other reality shows, or during her Paralympic presenting. She is a huge advocate for inclusion, and has been outspoken on the subject of disability discrimination and accessibility.
I hadn’t realised, but Sophie is also an artist. She draws, and does oil paintings.
