The King’s Head.

“I’m not certain about you, but I had presumed that following King Charles’ coronation, his image would gradually become more prominent, including on currency. To my surprise, I recently learned that banknotes featuring his portrait will not be in circulation until next year.”

If you have children/grandchildren, will you be saving some of the coins/notes that are in circulation now, to give to them when they are older? Maybe you’ve decided to keep some for yourself.

Simple Baby Cards.

Hello, I thought you might like to see these simple baby cards I’ve made. I’ll add links to the stamps and dies that I used to create them as well.

card saying it's a baby girl, with 3 pink elephants underneath. Each elephant has a heart above its trunk.

I used some glitter card which I already had, for the elephant and heart shaped dies. They are so cute!! https://amzn.to/3nHK5L6

The stamps were part of a set which actually contained a wider selection of words (both stamps, and dies included) , I just didn’t used them all. See what’s included: https://amzn.to/3M6XnuY

card saying it's a baby boy, with 3 blue elephants underneath. Each elephant has a heart above its trunk.

These cards were great fun to make, and perfect if you need to make a quick card for newborn, or you could use the selection of stamps and the elephant dies to make a celebration card too. You can use your imagination to come up with more ideas I am sure.

Easter 2023

I am sure you all feel like me, that even the littlest members of the family should be included in special events throughout the year.

Last year my Niece was only a few months old at Easter, so obviously though I wanted her to have a special gift, she couldn’t have a traditional chocolate Easter egg. At first I was unsure what to get her, but then I came across a beautiful personalised bag on Amazon and bought her that. https://amzn.to/3TnjsqN

I knew it would be something that would last beyond easter time, and be treasured. Then I just chose a couple of easter themed books and a cuddly toy to go inside it https://amzn.to/40zwSm7

It was a lovely feeling knowing even at that age, she has a keepsake from her first Easter. Her parents loved it too!!

Eye-catching

I am talking about all those gorgeous bouquets of flowers you see at the supermarket and in the florist windows, you know the ones.

Well, I am getting totally fed up with the miserable weather we have been having, and need a bit of colour to brighten things up I think, so next time I go shopping I am going to do a bit of self-care and treat myself to a bouquet of purple and pink flowers.

Do you ever do this? I haven’t done this for myself before.

Lip care.

I was lucky enough to be given some ‘Dr PawPaw’ lip Balm for Christmas and have to say, it’s really good.

It goes on easily and doesn’t feel too greasy, once it’s on it soaks into the skin fairly quickly and doesn’t feel like you’re wearing anything on your lips.

The one I have is the original Balm, which says it is multipurpose soothing Balm with natural pawpaw. For lips, skin, cuticles, and beauty finishing.

Also it is fragrance free, and vegan friendly. You can buy it here via Amazon. https://amzn.to/3FpYbai (affiliate link, I may be paid a small amount if you make a purchase)
