Animal lover

What are your favorite animals?

I really am a huge animal lover, but dogs have to be my all time favourite animal.

They are so loyal, understanding, patient and caring. Given the time and care they truly deserve, they’ll pay that back 1000’s of times more over their lifetime.

I don’t believe there is such a thing as a bad dog. A traumatised one, a scared dog, an under exercised and under stimulated dog, and definitely confused ones. But not a dog that’s bad from birth.

It is our responsibility and commitment to care for and look after them, and we need to do the best we can by them. Ensuring they feel safe, loved, secure, comfortable, and healthy.

They really are the perfect companion/friend.

Good Morning

Hello, I hope everyone is ok.

YAY to the days getting longer, it’s not even 8am yet, but the sky is no longer pitch black, this is so lovely it makes me feel more optimistic and awake in the mornings.

I wonder what you’ll do with your day. My first things will be a cuppa tea, and then I’ll be up and out for an hours walk with the dog. Get back and get some stuff done on the laptop, and do a few other bits n bobs.

Having been all day yesterday, I then intend to have a fairly relaxed day today to recover. Though the dog will want a second walk at some point later on.

We seem to have acquired a few uninvited visitors recently, I’ll add a photo so you can see what I mean, luckily the dog ignores them.

Have a wonderful day whatever you plan to do.

The uninvited guests.

Take a walk on the wild side.

I am fortunate enough to reside in the serene countryside, nestled between a quaint village and a bustling town. This idyllic location affords me the privilege of witnessing the beauty of wildlife in its natural habitat.

One of my regular routes is a pedestrian path that meanders through verdant fields and the backyards of local residents. As I traverse this path, I am often greeted by the delightful sight of squirrels scampering amongst the trees. On rare occasions, I am even blessed with the presence of graceful deer.

In addition to these charming creatures, I have also had the pleasure of spotting rabbits, hares, foxes, and even a majestic barn owl during my leisurely strolls in the countryside.

My garden is a haven for a plethora of avian species, including robins, blackbirds, starlings, magpies, blue tits, thrushes, and crows. Each of these feathered friends graces me with their presence at various times throughout the year. However, my heart belongs to the charming robins, blue tits, and the majestic deer that frequent my garden.

Living amidst such natural beauty is a true blessing, and I cherish every moment spent in the company of these magnificent creatures.
