A new day.

As the first rays of the sun peeked over the horizon, the sky was painted in hues of pink, orange, and gold. The world was still and quiet, as if holding its breath in anticipation of the new day. I sat on the edge of the cliff, watching the sunrise with a sense of wonder and awe.

The sun rose higher and higher, casting its warm glow over the landscape. The birds began to chirp and sing, and the world slowly came to life. It was as if the sunrise had breathed new energy into everything around me, and I felt invigorated and alive.

As the sun continued to rise, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the beauty of the world around me. Watching the sunrise was a reminder that every day is a new beginning, full of endless possibilities and opportunities. And as I sat there, basking in the warmth of the sun, I knew that I was ready to embrace whatever the day had in store for me.

A view from the countryside.

Thought you might like to see pics from part of one of the walks I take the dog on. I do this using my powerchair, obviously not if it’s really wet with puddles etc…, but otherwise the chair manages fine.

As you can see the ground is not bone dry here. Doesn’t it look beautiful.

Obviously if there’s anyone else about I put him straight on a lead, but this track was deserted at the time, and he has good recall so I’m confident that he’ll come straight to me on command.

Make-up, yes or no?

I love wearing make-up but am extremely unconfident of my ability to apply it well, so rarely wear it. However I am going to be at a media event on Wednesday, so feel it is an occasion for me to wear some – just some basic coverage to hide any blemish’s etc….. nothing over the top or overly obvious, a ‘natural’ look.

What basic and simple advise can you give me? I have invested in concealer and a foundation, and already have loads of eye-shadows, lipstick/gloss, etc…. just felt the foundation I had was due to be replaced.

I have quite pale skin so please bear that in mind,
