Right this moment I could quite happily eat a snack bowl full of little bits, some raspberries, salted peanuts, dried apricots, and some mini cheddar biscuits. I won’t be doing so, as am trying to be careful about what I eat the majority of the time.
Being a full-time wheelchair user means its incredibly easy to pile on the weight quickly, and difficult to get rid of it again.
Sadly walking the dog when you use a powerchair doesn’t burn those calories, if it did I’d be much slimmer as we do an average of 5 miles a day. So that’s 35 miles a week, so would probably work out as about 400 calories a day if I was walking it.
I must get back to the Gym, and burn them off that way instead.
