What’s the most fun way to exercise?

Opinions on exercise are as varied as the colours of a garden in full bloom. Speaking for myself, I find gardening to be the ultimate workout. Not only do you engage a variety of muscles while tending to your plants, but you also get to soak up some much-needed vitamin D in the great outdoors. And let’s not forget the satisfaction of seeing your hard work pay off in the form of a gorgeous, vibrant garden. So, while others may prefer the monotony of a treadmill or the intensity of a spin class, I’ll take my gardening gloves any day.

Well blow me down with a feather when I saw this mentioned online!

Mr Suits would not be happy if I tried to brush his teeth, he’s mostly an outdoor cat, so I’d have to catch him first.

He has a good diet, and exercises by strolling around his property, so I think we’ll give the toothpaste a miss to be honest.

Physical activities

What are your favorite physical activities or exercises?

Being a full-time wheelchair user my options of physical activities or exercise are somewhat limited, however, what I really do enjoy is spending time in the garden.

I enjoy starting off new seeds, and then planted them up in pots outside. All this requires some physical effort but it’s also great fun to watch as they grow and become flowers and or food to eat.

Being outside doing this this is good physical activity, is good for mental health, and also helps me too top up with vitamin D. What more could I ask?!
