Hey you, yes you reading this now
Have you got your voter ID, don’t have a cow
It’s vital to exercise your right to vote
So don’t leave it until the last hour, it’s all afloat

No matter your age, your colour or gender
Your voice needs to be heard, no need to surrender
Use it wisely, for the future lies ahead
Don’t be swayed by the rumours or things that are said

It’s your chance to make a real difference
So don’t let it slip, with any indifference
Your vote matters, don’t let it go to waste
Without it, there’s no voice, no future, just a disgrace

So go out, make your mark and have your say
With your voter ID, you can help shape the day
It’s a duty, we all should take with pride
For without it, our futures all collide.

Poem: Wheeling along

Footpath with trees and flowers on either side.

Wheeling along a footpath,
The sun shining down so bright,
Feeling the breeze on your face,
Gives you a feeling of delight.

The tires hum over the path,
As you glide along with ease,
Passing by blooming flowers,
And rustling leaves on the trees.

The rhythmic sound of the wheels,
Is like music to your ears,
And the sights along the way,
Bring happiness beyond compare.

So keep on rolling down the path,
And enjoy each and every mile,
For there’s nothing quite as wonderful,
As wheeling along in style!

Poetry today.

This morning I discovered an AI poetry generator online, and decided to have a play. This was the result.

A summers breeze

Advertisements

A summers breeze
To speak the bright heart with its desire:
Light of a fickle sun,
Loom blue water, secret light,
Dazzled turquoise life with wings,
Young I was the cloud to the wind,
Tremble, tremulous leaves of the wind,
Her voice, and the bright north wind
Alone in a speech for my shimmering body,
Young April hushed the happy tune,
